Robert Capovilla is an Army Officer, veteran, husband, and resident of Cherokee County, Georgia.  Robert’s family first moved to the area in late 1970s.  In 1992 Robert and his family moved to Willow Creek Lane and Robert attended Mountain Road Elementary School.  Some of Robert’s fondest memories are watching Bobby Cox coach the Braves and attending Sequoyah High School football games. After law school, Robert commissioned in the United States Army as a Judge Advocate General.  In this role Robert served as both the Chief of Claims and a military defense attorney.  Robert learned how to fight for victims of accident injuries and for those who were facing complex criminal actions under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.  Robert is a dedicated advocate who believes each one of us deserves honest, integrity driven legal representation.

In 2019 Robert was selected as a Premier Lawyer of America and named as a Top 40 trial attorney in the United States for attorneys under the age of 40. Recently, the National Trial Lawyers Association nominated Robert as a Top 40 trial attorney in the nation in trial law, which is a distinction that only the most qualified attorneys from each state or region receive. Robert has served as a guest lecturer at Georgia State Law School and he was asked to speak to the Georgia Bar Association. Robert has also taught classes on the rules of evidence, cross examination, and the importance of a great opening statement.
